Arkansas coaches continue to identify talented prospects others might be looking over

One official visit that flew under the radar this weekend was Murfreesboro, Tenn. defensive lineman James Stewart.
He came away impressed by the program and what it has to offer compared to his two others coming up in the next couple of weeks.
“My official visit to Arkansas was fun,” Stewart tells HawgWired. “It gave me a different perspective on things for the rest if my official visits.”
Arkansas offered a little later on in the process, and more than likely wanted to get a closer view of him before extending an offer.
The Razorbacks’ defensive line staff appear to be making up ground in a hurry though as Stewart’s recruitment winds down.
“I like Arkansas,” Stewart said. “The Razorbacks are a great program but my [recruitment] is still open as of the moment.
“Me and the defensive line coaches [Kynjee’ Cotton] and [Landius Wilkerson] are building a good relationship.”
Stewart is a bit on the smaller side as he is listed at 6-foot-2 but still weighs 290 pounds at his defensive line spot.
He lists offers from schools such as Boston College, Tulane, Illinois, Colorado, Maryland, USF, Memphis and many others.
He’ll take an official visit to the Golden Eagles (June 5) and Tulane (June 12) before making his college decision public on Independence Day, July 4.
