Week 1 of college football is over, and boy did it make an entrance. From West Virginia-Pittsburgh, Purdue-Penn State, to Florida State-LSU it has been a crazy week full of heartaches and joy.
For better or worse, it’s back-an opportunity for people across the country to bicker over why their Quarterback should win Heisman, why their beloved university should top the polls, why their team should beat your team, and excuses as to why they didn’t.
After one week, it’s reminded us why we love it so much. The passion of the players and the fans is there. The late game heroics, the unexpected talent that appears like a diamond in the rough, the woulda, shoulda, coulda’s, it’s all back.
For some the dream lives another day, and for other’s it came to a quick and painful conclusion.
